Rekeying help for Landlords.

If your like me I have been changing the deadbolt locks after ever renter moves out. This prevents him from comming back while you are cleaning and doing damage and prevents his crminal friends from bothering the new renters. It is also a great selling point to tell the new renter the lock is new and no one else has the key.

However you should be aware of a new fad on the net called lock bumping Watch the above video. Any 1st grader with a bump key can unlock your deadbolts. This will cause renters to change locks and allows theves to enter your units. You can stop this by installing locks that have Bump Gaurd.
